HIGH tides and large swells have resulted in a number of boats being washed up on the beach in Manly overnight.

Tides up to 2.1 metres and waves to seven metres were predicted along the coast, in an alert issued by council on Friday.
Footage shows three boats were beached along East Esplanade on Saturday morning.
Overnight wind gusts reached 50km/h, but the Bureau of Meteorology recorded just 2.6 millimetres of rain in the 24 hours to 9am on Saturday at Terrey Hills.
SES crews took advantage of Saturday's sunny weather to conduct clean up works, after strong winds brought down a number of trees during the past few days.
Among the jobs was to remove dangerous branches in North Manly, that were overhanging a footpath and blocking access for pedestrians.
This weekend and into Monday will be a reprieve from the wet weather on the northern beaches, with less than 1mm of rain predicted each day.
From Tuesday, the wet weather will return, with up to 40mm of rain predicted on Wednesday and 80mm on Thursday.
