A MAN has been charged with high range drink driving after allegedly driving three times over the legal alcohol limit.

When the 38-year-old was pulled over just before 5pm on Thursday afternoon (February 3) in Gardere Avenue, Curl Curl, by highway patrol officers, police say he was not wearing a seat belt and had an eight week old baby and a dog in the car.

He was arrested and taken to Dee Why Police station where he returned a reading of 0.197.
The Collaroy Plateau man had his driver's licence suspended and was issued a traffic infringement for the seatbelt offence and a Court Attendance Notice for the high range PCA.
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Manly Local Court on March 16.
