Muster Dogs

7.40pm, Sunday, ABC

It's a show that has captured the nation's hearts. Five kelpie puppies, bred from top performing kelpie muster dogs by Joe Spicer in Victoria, are sent to five properties around the nation with the goal of becoming the best muster dog in 12 months. The usual training timeframe is three years, so this is serious training on working properties. But as the debut show made obvious last Sunday, the dogs are adorable, with heaps of personality. And the trainers carry plenty of chutzpah, too. If you love dogs, catch up to this program.
