Christmas choral concert

Come along to this free, family event on Thursday and get your festive season off with a bang. BYO picnic blanket and feast, or grab something to eat from on-site food vendors. Rainbow sports day

This Sunday's Rolling Rainbow Sports Day is a celebration of LGBTQ+ inclusion in wheelchair sport. There will be a range of different sports, including basketball, rugby, tennis and AFL. Come along to this free day, dress fun, let loose, and play some sport. All welcome. On from 10am-2pm at Sydney Academy of Sport and Recreation.
Festive markets for a cause
MANLY
Manly's Country Women's Association branch is holding a Christmas stall in The Corso this Saturday from 9am. There will be handmade Christmas decorations and cards, gift ideas, home-baked treats and delicious preserves. Funds raised will go to local homeless programs.
Pop and folk concert
AVALON
Loosely Woven, led by Wayne Richmond, returns to Avalon Baptist Church at 4pm this Sunday. The 'Heart and Soul' concert is free, but donations to Amnesty International are appreciated.
Dancin' good times
COLLAROY
Head down to The Beach Club for a great line up of live music this weekend. Rockbox are on from 8.30pm on Friday with their faithful and powerful versions of top 40 hits from the '80s through to current chart-toppers. On Sunday from 4.30pm is the Mezcaltones, and while their original songs have an alt-country flavour with rich cowboy guitar sounds reminiscent of another century, the guitar tones also reach into the realms of '60s surf instrumentals. Both gigs are free.
Oh, Christmas tree
BELROSE, MANLY
Grab a 'live' Christmas tree this weekend at Hinkler Park (near Manly Lagoon). All funds raised will support the Fairlight/Manly cubs and scouts activities for 2022. Open from 6.30am-6.30pm both days. On Sunday only, Belrose Scouts will be selling freshly cut Christmas trees at Wakehurst Public School from 7.30am-12pm.
Rock platform tour
