NSW has recorded 173 new COVID-19 cases and two deaths in the 24 hours to 8pm on Monday, November 22.
The most recent data for the northern beaches (to 8pm on November 19) shows there are 29 active cases. The majority of them (seven) are in the 2096 postcode, followed by six in the 2093 postcode.
In NSW, 91.9 per cent of people aged 16 years and older are fully vaccinated, while 94.4 per cent have had their first COVID-19 vaccine shot.
Those aged between 12 and 15 years are 75.4 per cent fully vaccinated, while 81 per cent have had their first dose.
There are 196 COVID-19 patients in hospital, with 34 in ICU.
NSW Health reported the death of two people who had been diagnosed with COVID-19.
- A woman in her 80s died at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She was a resident of Presbyterian Aged Care nursing home at Ashfield in Sydney's Inner West, where she acquired her infection. She was not vaccinated. This is the second death linked to an outbreak at this facility.
- A man in his 80s from south west Sydney died at Liverpool Hospital. He was not vaccinated.
Across NSW 52,302 COVID tests were conducted to 8pm on Monday, which was up on the previous day's total of 45,405.
