THE number of active COVID-19 cases in the northern beaches continues to remain stable, with NSW cases falling below the 300 mark again on Sunday.
Statewide there were 296 locally acquired cases and four deaths, data to 8pm on Saturday, October 23 shows. There are 480 people in hospital with the virus, and 119 requiring intensive care.
There were 66,000 tests conducted within the 24 hour reporting period.
In the northern beaches, there are 45 active cases, with numbers hovering in the 40s since October 19.
The 2099 postcode has the highest number of people with COVID at 14, followed by 2100 with eight cases, and 2102 and 2093 which have four active cases each.
A number of postcodes in the LGA have no active cases, they include: 2108, 2106, 2104, 2103, 2101 and 2092.
Statewide, the first dose vaccination figure for people aged 16 years and older has ticked over 93 per cent, with full inoculation at 84.4 per cent for that demographic.
Figures on 12-16 year olds, who were the focus of a walk-in jab blitz this weekend, are expected to be released with regional breakdowns and other detailed data around 11am.
