Friday night vibes
AVALON
Kick off your Friday night with a cool drink and some hot tunes at Avalon Bowlo.The Off Balance Trio will be on stage from 5pm, the gig is outdoors, entry is free.
Tasty, fresh produce
BELROSE
Grab fresh, local produce this Sunday at Belrose Produce Market. There's a bonanza of food, including fruit, vegetables, bread, meat, seafood, dairy, small goods, sweets, cakes, pastry and preserves. There's also delicious breakfast, brunch and lunch options to enjoy onsite in the outdoor area. On from 8am-2pm at Belrose Super Centre.
Outdoor art with a view
MANLY
For the second consecutive year, Q Station Manly is hosting the Les Sculptures Refusées, an outdoor fringe sculpture exhibition that has attracted a cult-like following by supporting new work from artists who were refused entry into major exhibitions, such as Bondi's famed Sculpture by the Sea. Entry is free.
To market, to market
WARRIEWOOD
The Beaches Market in on from 8am-12.30pm this Friday. Grab tasty fresh products including: local honey, local speciality cheeses, fish, meat, olive oils, breads, plants and flowers. It's on at Pittwater Rugby Park.
Great Aussie bird count
NORTHERN BEACHES
Taking part in the Aussie Backyard Bird Count is easy, just spend 20 minutes in your favourite outdoor space and tell Birdlife Australia about the birds you see during that period. It's on from October 18-24 and you can submit your results using the app or the web form. Every count helps. Visit www.aussiebirdcount.org.au.
