THE number of active COVID cases in the northern beaches continues to fall, as the first dose vaccination rate in NSW passes 92 per cent.
There are currently 42 active cases in the LGA, data to 8pm on Sunday shows, which is well down on the beginning of this month when there were 151 cases.
The 2099 postcode (which includes Dee Why, Cromer, Narraweena and North Curl Curl) has had the highest number of cases in the northern beaches during this outbreak, the area also has the largest population. While cases reached 48 in the postcode earlier this month, this has now dropped to 11.

FIVE people have died as overall COVID figures in NSW continued to drop in Monday's update.
More than 92 per cent of adults in NSW have received a first dose of COVID-19, NSW Health confirmed on Monday.
There were 266 fresh infections detected in the 24 hours to 8pm on Sunday, including one overseas arrival.
That's down from 301 COVID cases the day before, and as the state begins to enjoy new freedoms.
Hospital numbers have passed 600, with 606 patients requiring treatment within the system.
Of those, 132 are in intensive care across NSW.
80.3 per cent of the population aged 16 or older has received two doses of a vaccine.
While cases are dropping, police closed a hotel in the Hunter region for repeated breaches.
