BREAKDOWN ON NEW NSW VIRUS CASES:
NSW recorded 18 locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm on Wednesday, 13 of which were already announced on Wednesday morning.
THEY INCLUDE:
* 11 cases linked to a birthday party in West Hoxton. About 30 people attended and all guests are in isolation.
* Five people from Sydney's eastern suburbs - a teenager, two women in their 20s, a man in his 50s and a man in his 70s.
* A woman in her 20s from the Sutherland Shire.
* A hairdresser from western Sydney who worked in Double Bay.
* All but one case - the hairdresser from western Sydney - are linked to a known case or cluster.
NSW Health has also been notified of six new locally acquired cases overnight. These cases will be included in Friday's numbers.
THEY INCLUDE:
* 36-year-old Agriculture Minister Adam Marshall, who attended the Christo's Pizzeria in Paddington at the same time as a previously reported case.
* Three women who are close contacts of the hairdresser who works in Double Bay. All have been in isolation while infectious.
* A man in his 40s who is linked to the West Hoxton birthday party.
* A man in his 40s whose infection has thus far not been linked to a known case or cluster.
