A COSTCO may be coming to Terrey Hills with a 6000 square metre bulky goods store approved by council, but the retailer is remaining tight-lipped about the move.
The development will also be home to a restaurant and open-air cinema complex, the development application (DA) shows.
Construction will take place at 42-44 Myoora Road, which is a 31,911 square metre, double block of land that runs through to Mona Vale Road.

Plans for the development were originally knocked back by Warringah Council in 2012 when the proposal was for a 12,794 square metre bulky goods premises.
However, following an appeal to the Land and Environment Court, a reduction down to a 6000 square metre premises and a redesign of other elements, the court ordered development consent be granted.
It may be seven years since on since the DA's approval, but the Northern Beaches Review understands that local and state government are planning to announce the store's arrival in coming weeks.
The Myoora Road site is owned by northern beaches local Roy Mustaca. He also owns ten United Cinema chains across Australia and New Zealand, including in Warriewood, Collaroy and Avalon.
While a McDonald's restaurant was listed on one of the DA's original plans, Mr Mustaca exclusively told the Northern Beaches Review that it will now be a Wahlburgers, which is an American fast food chain owned by actor, producer, model and rapper Mark Wahlberg.
It comes after Mr Mustaca struck a deal with the Hollywood heavyweight to open 15 of the movie-themed restaurants inside or next to United Cinemas across Australia, including at his cinema complex in Warriewood.
He confirmed, however, there are no plans for a Wahlburgers at or near his Collaroy or Avalon cinemas.
Mr Mustaca said while his company has been in discussions with Costco nothing is "concrete" and the bulky goods site would be used for United Cinemas to store excess theatre seats, machines and speakers.
Costco managing director Patrick Noone said they are keen to expand the company's reach.
"While we have not acquired any particular site, the northern beaches has long been an area of interest to us, particularly the Mona Vale Road corridor as it is well suited to our offer in terms of access and connectivity to the local area," he said.
"Our focus is always to find the right location to meet our specifications so that we can ensure every warehouse is as comprehensively stocked."
A council spokesman said no DA from Costco has been received for this site, but he would not confirm if a DA had been received for another site.
A three-storey, 20,000 sq m Bunnings was also recently announced for the area.
