Police are seeking public assistance to locate former Manly real estate agent and Instagram model Monique Agostino. The 25-year-old is wanted on a revocation of parole warrant and a conviction warrant. She is slim, with brown eyes, and known to frequent the Northern Beaches, Oak Flats, Bankstown, Punchbowl and Marayong.
Two-and-a-half years after a series of robberies, a man has been jailed. The 40-year-old threatened staff with a knife and stole cash at businesses in Manly Vale and the inner west on October 1, 2018, before robbing a south Sydney business 10 days later. After fleeing to New Zealand, he was arrested on arrival in Melbourne last year. He was sentenced on two charges of robbery with an offensive weapon and one of robbery and jailed for 30 months. He'll be eligible for parole in May 2023.
Northern Beaches detectives have released video and descriptions of four men they'd like to speak to as part of their investigation into a fire in the garage of a Roger Street apartment building just after 3am on August 17 last year. A Holden Commodore and Harley Davidson motorcycle were destroyed after accelerant was poured on the car and lit. The men were all wearing hooded tops. A a man in his 50s and a woman in her 40s were assaulted in a Drumcliff Avenue home at 10.30pm last Wednesday. The offenders, aged 57 and 67, forced entry in what was believed to be a targeted attack. They were restrained by neighbours before being arrested and charged with aggravated break and enter with intent to inflict actual bodily harm. Two children in the home were not hurt.
A 38-year-old-man in a Holden Commodore returned a breath analysis result of 0.105 after being pulled over on Mona Vale Road. He was charged with mid-range drink driving, had his licence suspended and will face court next month.
After spotting a Ford Falcon swerving and crossing lanes without indicating, police pulled over a 20-year-old driver from Ermington. He was issued with an infringement notice for being an unaccompanied learner driver and had his licence suspended for three months. His mother was called to collect the car and her son.
