A TEENAGER has been hospitalised after he was allegedly pushed, kicked and punched during a late night robbery in Allambie Heights.
Police were called to Allambie Road just after midnight on Saturday following reports that two 14-year-old boys had been attacked and robbed.
"Officers were told the 14 year olds had been approached by a group of three," a northern beaches police spokesperson said. "They were pushed, kicked and punched as demands were made for a pair of shoes and a cap taken.
"A passer-by stopped to help and an ambulance was called."
One of the 14 year old boys was taken to hospital with a cut to his head.
"Patrolling police were quick to spot and arrest three young people who were close by," the spokesperson said.
"Property was seized and charges of robbery in company laid."
A 17-year-old has been refused bail pending an appearance at court.
A 15 and 16-year-old now are on strict curfews and non-association orders pending their turn before a magistrate.
